Yes. The fine pointed blades cut embroidery thread, washi tape and thin paper cleanly without dragging or fraying.

Will the antique finish wear off?
The finish is bonded to the metal and holds up to normal use. Like all plated finishes it will slowly soften over years of handling — many owners find that adds to the vintage character.
